Got the pants today. For reference, I'm 5'4" and weigh about 285 pounds. I carry most of my weight in my lower gut. I usually wear pants that are a size 20-22, depending on whether they stretch. I planned to to use them for hiking and other outdoor activities.I read other reviews and ordered a larger size (24) as recommended. Now an overview PROS: -Stylish -Light to medium weight material -Functional pockets deep enough to to be useful -Unedited for length adjustment This can also be a con if you don't want to bother CONS: I went from a size 20 to a 24 and still couldn't close it There is a hidden elastic band incorporated at the waist, but that didn't help much - Material itself doesn't stretch - Feels like low-cut pants which looks weird, especially if you're brave - Dangerously close to cracking the plums I wanted REALLY like these pants, but I'm not giving up hope. Other reviews said plus size ladies should try on men's pants which would be my next step. Will update if men's pants succeed - fingers crossed! *** UPDATE *** Men's pants didn't fit either, what a bummer. I'm still looking for a decent pair of cargo pants for outdoor activities.
