I like the flexibility of the tube but you can't squeeze just a small amount of product out of this container. I wanted to use it as a hand sanitizer and was sick of flip-top travel containers from Walmart or container stores being opened and leaking into my purse. However, the sealed portion of this product prevents you from simply squeezing out a small amount. This puts a ton of product in your hands. This would be fine for shampoo or conditioner, but not for lotions or highly concentrated products. In addition, the snap ring slides down easily. I have no idea if it will be phased out because I haven't carried it in my purse yet. I wouldn't recommend this for something you plan to use on less than a quarter the size of the product or you're wasting the product.
