Review on Satechi Aluminum M1 Bluetooth Wireless Mouse With Rechargeable Type-C Port - Compatible With Mac Mini Computer Accessories & Peripherals by Lori Okuno

Works well on Fedora Linux

I use this mouse with Fedora 30 and it works quite well. I was skeptical about BT mouse support in Linux, but they connected right away and work smoothly with almost no lag. I love it. The assembly is pleasant, the keys are well pressed. The knurled metal scroll wheel rotates easily. The only downside is that, fun as it sounds, it doesn't seem to charge via USB-C. I've tried this with different devices and chargers. The only thing that charges it is the included USB-A to USB-C cable. This seems like a pointless constraint, but maybe I'm doing something wrong. That's why I deduct a star from a very good device.

Pros
  • COMPATIBILITY - Due to older versions of Bluetooth (2.1), we do not recommend using it with Mac 2011 and earlier devices. Supports Mac Mini 2020/2018, iMac Pro, 2019/2017 iMac, 2020/2018 MacBook Air, 2019/2018/2017 MacBook Pro, 2017/2016/2015 MacBook, 2020/2018 iPad Pro, 2019 iPad (with iOS 13), iPhone 11 Pro Max/11 Pro/11, XS Max/XS/XR/X (iOS 13), Microsoft Surface Laptop 3, Microsoft Surface Pro 7, Google PixelBook Go, Chromebook, Microsoft Surface Go, Dell XPS, Lenovo, HP Spectre , ASUS
Cons
  • Almost OK
