Review on Beard Straightener with Beard Balm, Growth Oil and Comb - 3 in 1 Hair Straightening Brush for Men and Women by Anthony Lowery

This is my first beard straightener so I didn't want to buy anything big/expensive. However, I figured it would last at least 4+ uses. Last time I turned it on and put it on the hook to warm up. I gave it about 5 minutes and started using the flat iron. After a few hits during the session, I noticed that the device was heating up more than usual and I felt like it was burning my face. As I looked at the bristles, I noticed that one of them was bent. Without thinking about it, I continued with a few more strokes. That's when I really started burning my face. I looked again at the stubble and the attached photos are what I saw. Almost the entire center of the comb's bristles melted. I immediately stopped using it and turned off the device. The back of the heated part was very hot. After about 5 minutes of cooling I went to inspect the unit and found the bristles were rock hard and melted into the shape shown in the photos. Although I didn't spend a lot of money on this device, I'm still very disappointed that it didn't last very long. This device was never laid down but was always hung from a hook without touching any surface. Update - 08/29/2020 - As of today the company has promised me they will send me a new version of this beard straightener. If they send it to me I will re-rate this straightener and leave my honest opinion/feedback here.
