Dropped it on its side corner onto a rough brick flooring. I thought for sure my new laptop was scratched, but it miraculously scratched the case and NOT my laptop. I'm glad I had this case for that scenario, but I am very much considering getting a more protective case in case anything like that happens again.Works well for scratches, bumps, and the occasional life saving fall. But I would recommend something with more back-edge protection, if that's possible, in order to feel secure that you are protecting a nearly $2000 investment.
