Review on 6&quot Industrial Electrical: Powering Efficiency and Reliability by Brandon Pape

I bought these because I'm remodeling my house and I'm so sick of the '90s 'chest lights' that are dated and don't light up the room at all. These recessed lights are modern and elegant! My house was built in 1949, so I don't have a lot of overhead space on each level, and some of the wiring in the house is still pin and tube. sigh. I was originally going to use glass lamps but a friend of mine told me about them and I'm glad I listened to them as they are non-invasive and easy to install. I have an electrician friend who helps me run the wire from the switches I upgraded to dimmable and the light dims very little and it makes great mood lighting. Without dimming, they are bright and ideal for basements. I will be adding more of these to my house!
