My factory installed home theater projection lamp lasted several years but failed on Black Friday. When I ordered this lamp on the same day, I was promised delivery by Monday. Delivered a day earlier (Sunday), but unfortunately not to me, but to my neighbor. Fortunately, I recognized the photo of the delivery and was able to pick up my new projector lamp from my honest neighbor. So no loss. This projector replacement lamp looks just like the original factory lamp. It is enough to loosen one screw from the cover to gain access to this lamp assembly. By loosening two more small screws I was able to remove the blown lamp from the projector and replace it with this one. This assembly also had two screws needed to properly secure this replacement in the correct working position. My projector's brightness has been restored with all the brightness and color balance I previously enjoyed. It's not surprising that when you first turn on a small, powerful light like this, there's a slight odor from the intense heat, but that usually goes away after an hour or two. If this lamp lasts as long as the original factory lamp, I will be satisfied. This build was competitively priced and shipping was fast despite bypassing my neighbor's house.
