If the conditioner wasn't so thick I think it would leak as well. On a long enough trip packing every day and going all day, that can be a lot of wasted product. Too bad they are not suitable for our purposes. Perhaps someone staying in the same place for a long vacation won't mind the initial leak when unpacking for cleaning, or of course they may be fine with just using it at home.
