I love this comb! I chose it because it was a solid piece of wood and I'm very glad I did. This is much nicer than putting things together piece by piece. It has a sandalwood scent but smells very natural and unscented. I'm sensitive to such things and only use my own essential oil skincare products. I've been wearing it for about 8 months and it still has a sandalwood scent (though not as strong as it was). I like that it comes with a velvet pouch for protection, which I use when I travel, but I don't particularly like the bright red color of the pouch. This is my first wooden comb and I've really enjoyed using it. I bought it because I wanted to stop using shampoo on my hair and just wash it with water. The wooden comb is great for removing greasy buildup from my hair and is easy to clean with a paper towel as the teeth are wide. It took my hair probably 6 months to recover and most of the time I was comfortable with the way it looked but I'm so glad I stuck with it and can proudly say I didn't care for it I've been using my hair for 8 months (except for the occasional apple cider vinegar rinse which I've done 4-5 times in total) and thanks to this comb it looks great and isn't greasy at all. At the same time I bought a boar comb which was useful at first but I ended up gifting it to my mother because it was too painful to clean compared to a comb and the comb does its job just as well as a comb. Remove oils with the right technique.
