Sound is great, mic works, backlight works too. It comes standard with a single 3.5mm headphone jack, but comes with an adapter so you can connect it separately to your PC's headphone and microphone ports. The headset also has a USB port that easily illuminates the device. For me I just plug it into the back of my Xbox and it works great. All my online friends say my voice sounds very clear now and are glad I bought a gaming headset. Very glad I received them.
