I've been needing a new wallet for a long time. My wallet has gotten smaller and smaller over the years. I never put my wallet in my back pocket and often wear shorts when the weather is nice. So the search for a minimalist wallet begins. So many possibilities. In the end I got tired of looking at thousands of Amazon wallets and decided on this one. It's a sleek and stylish look, with good reviews and a low price. This works for me, but I need to carry around 10 cards and some cash (License, Debit, Credit, ID, Insurance and a few membership/loyalty cards). I even threw away a few cards that I carried with me and used often. enough. Well, as much as I love this wallet, it works best for no more than 7-8 cards plus some cash. It's very convenient and it's difficult for me to get a card and withdraw it. It's very well made and looks crisp, but I wish it had an extra card slot on each side. It doesn't seem like 2 extra cards should make much of a difference, but it does. Maybe it will stretch to fit what I'm carrying. Anyway, I ordered another wallet (which is designed for more cards), hard with an external money clip. I will wear this one until another one arrives. When you have no more than 8 cards and less than 8 bills, it gets cool. Unfortunately, I usually carry more cards and more cash with me. UPDATE: I have a working ID card with an NFC chip that I use to log into a computer and it works great as long as it's in my wallet. My cell phone (Galaxy S8+) also recognizes the NFC chip. I tried sticking the ID behind a few other cards in my wallet while in my sleeve and my phone still recognized it (my phone beeps when it recognizes an NFC chip). I then put the card in the money slot so that the card was completely locked in the wallet and my phone recognized it immediately. I tried reorienting the map, nothing changed. I would strongly suspect this wallet's RFID blocking abilities.
