Removable "cups" are almost flat circles of foam, not semi-circles, that fit under the breast. The cup pockets are open except for the seam in the middle, allowing them to dangle freely. The metal clasp is difficult to attach yourself. I kept the suit because I needed it but I have to wear it with a strapless bra. Unlike most other suits, the bikini bottoms were too big so I had to use bottoms from another suit. I would not buy again.
