Review on JACKYLED Electric Vertical Extension Workshop White by Mike Ramani

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It works almost as I had hoped.

It was bought to replace the regular old extender. It fits the space and can handle multiple devices better than an extension cord. One of the biggest pluses for me was the USB charging station built into the power strip, which unfortunately didn't quite work as intended. Although it supports high speed charging for our phones, it cannot charge my tablet (Samsung Tab A) at high speed unless we plug a separate adapter into one of the outlets. This is technically a workaround, but defeats the purpose of the onboard USB charging ports. Customer service is quick to respond and did everything in their power to make it work as I expected. Apparently some tablets and devices don't recognize the USB charging station and only charge at 0.5 amps, which is the same amount a device gets when plugged into a computer. While it doesn't work quite as I hoped, I'm still pleased with the looks and functionality of this vertical charging station. Assuming that this vertical tower won't have any further problems in a few years, I would definitely buy from this company again.

Pros
  • ENERGY AND SPACE SAVING: Two independent switches on the top to save energy, they can control AC outlets and USB ports on the side indicated by the arrow. With its vertical design, the JACKYLED extender keeps your desk tidy and space-saving, goodbye desk clutter~
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for older people
