I ordered this for my 13 year old son's bedroom. You need to plug it into an outlet and from there keep an eye on the plug area for the remote to work. . The tape does not bend, so it does not stick in the corners of the blanket. Comes with two light coils. Which didn't bypass my son's bedroom. I need another set to completely bypass his bedroom. Once I started peeling off the tape and sticking it to the ceiling molding all went well. The first strip peeled off easily and stuck to the bar with no problem. The second strip wasn't so easy! When I removed the sticky adhesive the strip didn't stick to the crown molding, I was so disappointed that half of the strip on the tape had no adhesive! I used masking tape to stick it on. I wanted to return it but my son loved it so much he hung it on the ceiling so we left it. Every few days the strip tends to fall off the ceiling and I have to push the strip back up against the ceiling. Ceiling. The lighting is super cool! All the colors are vibrant and my son loves the colors. His bedroom is painted blue with a white ceiling. If his room were white, the colors would be more vivid. All in all it's a really cool concept. I just wanted the sticky part of the strip to be made with a stronger adhesive so it stays in place once glued.
