Quality components, relatively easy installation, amazing light output! The lighting kit was well packaged and appeared to be made with high quality components. The headlight, as mentioned in several other bike reviews from that year ('02), used a standard retaining ring, although other rings/adapters were included. Plugs into a standard outlet. The next lights required a little more effort. The 02 in particular was pre-wired so I had to cut the wires and use the supplied crimp connectors to attach the new wiring harnesses. The stock locking rings required fumbling on one side, particularly to fit inside the case and fit the trim ring. I think I'll buy a replacement snap ring set from HD and see if they fit better. In the meantime I was able to secure the rings and secure everything. The attached photos of the bike in my garage show low beam with low beam and high beam without before and after installation. They don't do justice to the new lights. The difference in intensity and color temperature is noticeable! I use Custom Dynamic LED turn signal inserts and Bright Ass Lights taillights, as well as LED lights in the front and rear fender lights. This bike is now bringing some serious light into the darkness! I'm a happy racer! I then ordered and installed a low beam harness adapter which now allows them to stay on when the high beams are on. I recommend this step to everyone!
