This is a great alternative to a full bar table and I like using it on a balance board. It's very durable and I've even sketched and drawn on it while standing on the balance board - it's so stable. I like that I can fold it up and store it easily. The only major downside was that there was some sort of foam attached around the inside edge. I forgot to take photos but the foam was not trimmed to fit each corner, instead leaving large (1 to 2 inch) curves in each corner where the adhesive backing was exposed the full length of the curve. Some of the glue also stuck to the top edges of the metal rim and the outsides, which was weird and messy. The exposed glue was very sticky. It quickly gathered wool, dust, hair, etc. I had to remove it. Some sections of the foam had already separated and peeled off easily, but other sections could not be removed. I ended up messing up the top trying to remove the adhesive. The adhesive remover spray finally made it (wish it had come sooner!). Now it's not very beautiful, but very functional. All in all, it lost a star for all my sticking issues. Applying sticky foam was so careless; and in my opinion, even if done right, it wouldn't add much value or functionality. If you want a compact option for a standing desk, buy this, but also buy an adhesive remover (: 4/5 stars).
