Excellent trousers - excellent quality, good price. We've been buying/wearing them for five years. The double knee is a must for rowdy boys. He likes velcro because it takes him less time to fiddle with buttons. Pants in this style appear slightly narrower. The "thin" cut is very thin in my opinion. We also have button closure nauticas - they tend to be larger and roomier so they look a bit messy on my baby. They have pull tabs to adjust the waist inside the belt. This is a great cut for a tall, athletic build. If your kid is in the bean/toothpick range, try skinny. If it hasn't grown up yet and is a little thicker, try the button down style.
