Roll of ribbon difficult to start and much thinner than I prefer. To be honest I use this for decorative purposes on packages I ship from my eBay store but I generally use 3M brand clear packing tape or Easy Start Duck to seal packages. I've only used this to stick a strip or two over packages that have already been securely sealed. I would hate to use this and rely on it being the only band in each pack. It may hold up well, but it's easy to remove from packages I sent today, which worries me as I tested it and tried removing the strip. So I would only recommend it for decorative reasons. But once you lose tape space, getting it back is very frustrating. Also, he became kind of oddly static. Today was my first day of using it and in the future I will start putting ebay tape on packages first and then putting clear tape on top to keep it out of the buyer's home. because it was partially unpacked during the shipping process.
