I've been checking my weight daily and have been for almost a decade. These are the most accurate scales non-physicians can buy. I have tried many different scales and have been quite disappointed with most for a number of general reasons: 1. Even a slight change in the position where you place the scale on the floor means a very different weight is displayed. 2. To make it seem like it's giving consistent results, many scales will automatically give you the same number if you've weighed recently. If you get a clearly invalid number this way, that number will appear for the next few times. 3. Non-constant weights that jump in a way that doesn't reflect actual changes. These scales solve all of those problems. It's easy on your floor, delivers a very accurate weight, and each weigh-in is an event in its own right for the scale. It's not the prettiest or smallest scale, but it's certainly the most accurate model commercially available for the average person.
