I have Twelve South Arcs for my Apple MacBook Pro and Apple MacBook Air. The arms provide a stable support as it is a well-made all-metal base. I was looking for something similar for my Asus laptop, but found that most of the stands are mostly made of plastic, which didn't make a good impression on me. While searching, I came across a CONMIXC stand. The price surprised me since it is made entirely of aluminum and has a wide range of settings. In addition, there is a silicone/rubber pad around the entire side of each canal leg to protect the finish (piano shine) of the laptop. Additionally there is another seal at the bottom of the channel to provide extra protection. Overall, the support is very stable due to its three-dimensionality and a surprisingly good buy, especially given the bargain.
