My daughter needed this uniform as part of a costume for a school wax museum project. It fit her very well. The hem fell just above her knees, just like we hoped. She is 54 inches tall and weighs 68 pounds. The sleeves fit well enough to be worn during the day, but she reports that the sleeves don't give you the room to fully stretch your arms. If you intend to make a lot of socks out of this I would suggest going up a size to allow room for growth and potential post-wash shrinkage. My daughter only had to wear this uniform once, so it lasted for one day. I'm not sure how well it will hold up after washing but I can tell you for sure it will be one of those garments that takes quite a while to iron. All in all it was good value for money.
