I love the design and the bamboo but the dark ones lose their stains and stay on the countertop

Pros: I like the design and the bamboo. Cons: Dark ones lose the stain and end up on the countertop. Luckily I have stone counters so they don't "stick" but it's very difficult to keep the stain off the counter all the time. Maybe it's because I use natural homemade soap that tends to wash the stain out of the bamboo, but whatever, it still hurts to clean underneath every day.
