This case was bought to store my recently purchased Panasonic Lumix FZ1000. There's enough space to keep the camera and lens hood separate, as well as a couple of extra batteries and a charger. The biggest surprise and disappointment is that the top flap simply hangs over the opening when closed. There is no zipper that goes around the mouth of the opening and forms a dust seal. This means that even when the bag is "closed" there is a gap between the top flap and the vertical sides that allows dust and other airborne contaminants to enter the bag. When you carry the bag by the handle, the top flap on the sides stretches, further increasing the gap. Definitely a very poorly designed product. What good is a camera bag if it can't even do something as simple as dust protection?
