That really is a great quality tie! It's polyester, not silk, but I wasn't expecting $10 silk. Besides, who cares? That's enough for me. However, it turned out a little thinner than I expected. I have other "narrow" or "skinny" ties that are 2.5 inches wide and I didn't realize until I got it that this one is only 2 inches wide. It doesn't look bad; I really liked it, I just wasn't expecting it. If you want to create a specific look, measure the width of your favorite tie at the widest point and then compare to the measurements given. Two inches is pretty bad.
