I have a problem with my 535FA Necchi. The needle will continue to hit the small pin in the thicker foot. I just got out my files and Dremel to fix this, I'm going to cut out this very small shank and widen the needle hole. This can work well with a machine that can position the needle. I would return the item but I live primarily in Boquete, Panama and that would be very difficult. If that doesn't work, I'll try something else. BREAK! So, I checked out the wire cutter and went back to U-Tube to see how it works and looked some more. Then I looked at the machine and actually found a way to position the needle. A black, easy-to-reach screw that controls the needle attached to the long stitch selector lever. Of course that's not in the manual. I tightened the screw and now the needle won't go into the lever in the foot. If this screw had not been loosened, the diagonal cutters would have worked from the start. Then I used it on some kind of canvas and it works great. Not as good as serger/overlock but does the job well. Now I would recommend it and rate it as a great overlock machine for poor people.
