Excellent customer service

Some wooden parts had serious paint defects. I bought espresso dark brown as it is the color of most of the furniture in my office/studio. I have contacted the company. Although they didn't respond as quickly as I would have liked, they answered me. At this point I had already assembled the cabinet. They offered to replace the damaged wood; At this point, however, it would have been a hassle to take it apart and put it back together, so I declined. As a token of apology, they credited me with $20 for the damaged parts. I got that from the fact that you can close it when not in use, which saves space as space saving is a big plus in my book. The table is easy to use and works well. When you open the door you turn it to the right and lift the top that rests on the rectangular square part of the cabinet. There is a slot on the underside of the recumbent that you insert the door into so the arm is securely open. I keep my sewing machine on the main body all the time. I was hoping to store things on the inside shelf, but when you close the door you can leave something on this shelf or the door won't close. There are three shelves on the inside of the door. You can store some small items in them, but they are just shelves and not any kind of organization. It would have been nice if it had threaded studs or slots for posts etc. since it's a sewing closet and the organization of things makes it so much better. It's just a simple cheap material that mimics wood that you often find in kits, but it looks good, works well and is durable. It supports the sewing machine and even has wheels so it rolls easily which is a plus since I don't have the muscles to move things.
