The speaker can be easily pushed through. Bluetooth to my iPhone, and when my (techy) wife showed up and wanted to switch it to whatever was playing on her iPhone, I was surprised that she was able to figure out how to do it herself, and quickly. This made me feel that the device is quite user-friendly. In addition, it can be easily connected to our echo dot. We primarily use this speaker outside in our driveway/backyard and it's loud and clear. One of our neighbors uses a more expensive portable speaker and ours works just as well, so I'm happy with the value I'm getting. Maybe all that extra ambient noise cancels out the extra sound quality. I like that the control buttons are large and easy to press even when I'm not looking at the device. The speaker design fits my hands well and isn't likely to slip off (also comes with a wrist strap). I'm glad we got it working after the first load (within 5 minutes) and without looking at the manual. The device can withstand water and even connect up to 200 speakers, which we haven't tried yet. Overall this is a great speaker and listening to music while working or playing outdoors has definitely added to our enjoyment this year.
