Excellent picture; Simple user interface

On a 2012 Samsung HDTV I can see a difference in picture quality day and night. The built-in speakers are also much better. Completely satisfied with picture and sound. However, I had to keep the TV disconnected from the internet as the modem loses internet connection every 5-60 minutes when connected and turned on. I've tried wired and wireless and both cause the same problem. I've also tried using a static IP but that doesn't help. Disconnecting from the router keeps the internet up. Samsung support hasn't been very helpful so far. They think the problem is with my network devices, when it's only a problem when this TV is connected. I've never left a review before but I'm leaving this in the hope that other people can join us if they have the same problem. If so, I suspect a firmware issue. Otherwise I will try to replace the TV. UPDATE I replaced the TV through Revain and the new one is causing the same network issues as the first one. UPDATE 2: My network problems turned out to be related to my modem. After I got a new one from my ISP, the network problems went away.
