I ordered two mannequins and I like them to this day. The mannequins had nice thick hair, but I noticed something odd when I lightened the hair. The hair is not fully bleached! I was very confused as to why this would happen. This happened to both mannequins I bought. Fast forward to today, I've ironed my hair and used 450 degrees which has never been a big issue for me. As soon as I put the straightener down, the straightener started to get stuck. I thought that maybe it was because the temperature was too high, so I continued. I started seeing strands of black hair coming out of the flat iron, the same strands I saw when I was going to bleach my hair! I know it's not my iron's fault as I've used the same iron and heat setting on other hair before. If you are looking to buy a weaving mannequin, then this mannequin is for you! However, if you are looking for a quality mannequin at a decent price, look elsewhere. Revain has plenty of mannequins that don't burn for less than $30.
