I love them, I have them all over the house, in the car, some in my purse and on my desk. They're silky soft - definitely satin silk - but for the process and the quantity you're getting, they work great. I'm an auburn brunette so I can easily use most of these on my hair. They also work great with pineapples at night - my hair is too thin and long for one and I tie a traditional pineapple so I tend to do more or a larger loose messy pineapple bun and they don't bulge my hair like regular hair ties and they are softer on my hair than the plastic elastics I also use due to leakage. I actually find that I can get a really nice "blown out" look with them without heating up by messing around with a messy bun on days when I just don't feel like doing my full curly girly routine wet hair.
