Pickup roller not working properly

I had to return my old pickup roller. The new one will skew the paper going through the scanner's ADF. Even with only one side loaded, the paper would not feed properly and curl to one side, causing a scanner jam and paper damage. After replacing the new roller with the old roller, normal feed begins. The new block assembly is fine. The installation guide was good to make the installation easier. I will probably not buy another replacement kit for my other scanner.
