The OLED screen is amazing it really is as good as one could hope for. And the frame around the screen is very, very small, which makes the laptop look fashionable and futuristic. I did a lot of research and the i5 single core speed is the same as the i7 single core speed. The other version of this laptop just has different multi-core performance and most programs use only one core. So save $200 and get the i5, it's just as fast 95% of the time. I was able to successfully install Linux Mint 20.2 on this laptop. The only problem was that the screen brightness was not adjustable in Linux Mint, but this was fixed with (xrandr --output eDP-1 --brightness 0.5) bound to the brightness key. Otherwise, Linux Mint worked perfectly. I had trouble installing to a microSD card, which is what I wanted, but once I partitioned the main drive to share with Windows, everything worked fine. I managed to get 11 hours of battery life when not working hard, which is insane for a laptop that only weighs 2.5 pounds. I calculated that the power consumption in standby mode is about 3 watts for the computer and another 3 watts for the display and the total battery capacity is 67 Wh of which 66 is usable. With normal use of the web browser I get about 5-8 hours. If I'm doing something CPU intensive non-stop, I get around 3-4 hours. It charges in about an hour and a half, which is great, and the USB-C cable and charger are good. Also, the calculator display on the touchpad really turns off. In every picture you can see it's on, but it actually turns off when you don't want to see it and it completely disappears looking like a regular touchpad. That was my concern before buying. I was also able to peel off my stickers from the comfort of my own home, as another person complained in their review. You just have to brush very slowly. This is a 2.5 pound laptop with a display that takes up 133% of the RGB space and an 8 hour battery life with 8 cores and each core is as fast as my desktop at just 6 watts. And it's $800. This is crazy, just get it. After dozens of hours of searching for the best and lightest laptop, here it is. The sound quality of the speakers is also surprisingly good and bassy, but not cheap. And the fan noise is very low, most of the time it is not running and even at maximum speed it is very quiet. The case is durable, will not deform or bend. The keyboard is very nice and responsive, mostly perfect. The function lock indicator is nice, all the lock indicators are on their respective buttons, which is nice. Also, the keyboard backlight looks great. If I had to find anything to complain about, I'd say the hard drive space is a bit tight (I added a durable 256GB microSD card for extra storage). Also, the lid can be a bit tricky to open as it sits flush with the rest of the case when closed, but that's a very small complaint. Overall I am impressed and cannot recommend this laptop enough! Photos and videos look almost like real life because the colors are so vivid, it performs like a dream even if you treat it like a desktop computer, and it weighs next to nothing compared to most laptops. What's not to love for $800?
