Fourth update: third replacement holds up well after a few weeks. Let's see how long ETA lasts. Upgraded to three stars based on excellent customer service. Third update: If I could give NO stars I would. Mosiso kindly sent me a replacement cover for the second cracked case. But now, less than a month later, the top cover is cracked in the same places. The Macbook has not been abused and has been treated with the utmost care. WARNING: Stay away from this case. It's too fragile because it's too thin. If it was a little thicker, it might last more than a month. THREE STRIKES AND YOU CHOOSE, MOSHISO! Second update: downgraded to one star. This is the second Mosiso hull to develop a crack at the corner. Stay away! This clear sleeve for my 12" Macbook fits perfectly and compares well to the Speck sleeve my wife uses for her 13" Macbook Air. Apart from the stamped name on the case, you don't notice any difference. It's tough and durable, and protects just as well as those that cost four times as much. It also comes with extra rubber feet in case one of them falls off. I'm glad I have this one and not a branded case. I now have an extra $36 to spend on USB-C adapters (hell, Apple!). UPDATE: Five weeks later, one of the front corners of the fuselage developed a crack. I have been very careful with the Macbook and have not misused it. Never dropped, always kept in pocket when not in use. I've used bacon cases and have never had this problem. UPDATE: Lowered to two stars. This is the second Mosiso hull to develop a crack at the corner. Stay away!
