I've tried a few HDMI switches. They all worked as they should. Annoyingly, they all had LED lighting on the front, which was too bright for a bedroom installation. One was so bright you could probably use it as a flashlight if the LED was white. That's not the case at all with this Koopman model. Very suitable for any installation anywhere in the house. Aesthetics aside, let's move on to functionality. They will send you a 5 volt plug-in transformer which is not needed in my case as the devices connected provide enough power for the switch. The remote control is small, with three buttons, but no on/off. While it's handy, I suspect I'll lose it somewhere in the maze of remotes I have lying around. Everything is working fine. There is a slight delay between changing inputs remotely, no big deal. 5 stars overall, the main difference to other switches being the LED backlight on the front which is liveable.
