Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ PICO 4: A Cutting-Edge Standalone VR Helmet with 256 GB Capacity by Stanislaw Stanislaw แ Œ

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

In general, I am satisfied with the purchase, I did not notice any critical problems for a couple of days of use. But since they brought the Chinese version of the helmet, I think it would be easier to order from alik for a price one and a half times cheaper. For the initial setup, there are guides and a tool in the w3bsit3-dns. Com thread, which will transfer the helmet to the European region in 5 minutes and roll up the pirated VD, I used it. In comparison with the quest, everything is much easier to set up, so I recommend buying it.

Pros
  • Everything started up pretty quickly. Streaming through VD even on a wifi 5 router works well. Sufficiently free firmware makes it easy to get the developer mode and pirate applications that are now difficult to buy in the store (however, if you ate the helmet firmware before getting the developer mode and transferring the helmet to the European region, when you enter the settings, they will require a social rating number and a PDA party ticket or something something like that). From the point of view of iron, everything is fine - a good screen and lenses, the processor is normal. The tracking of the controllers is not bad, although jambs popped up a couple of times.
Cons
  • I took it in , they brought the Chinese version of the helmet with the Chinese region installed. I took it from the Formula iQ store, but probably all retailers will bring the Chinese version. In general, nothing critical, the seller even attached an adapter and instructions for transferring the helmet to the European region, but I had to rummage around with the settings and flashing for half an hour. Of the original software, I only tested RemotePlayAssistent for watching videos, it works fine, but on heavy videos there is frequent buffering and slowdown in the player itself. The helmet's original software for streaming is StreamingAssistent, I have not tested it myself, but there are many reviews that it does not work well. Used Virtual Desktop instead. The fans are also quite noisy under load. Charging flies before our eyes, but one and a half to two hours of play will last.
