This is not leather. It is a fake. But he is very durable. It doesn't bend or stretch strangely. Advantages: 1. The buckle is so smooth. I've bought a few more of these straps that are rail adjustable and this is by far the best and smoothest of them all.2. It's not leather, so there won't be any scuffs, but it doesn't look cheap.3. The cognac and the brown match the colors perfectly and match my shoes perfectly. Matte chrome looks very nice.5. Chrome doesn't look bad either.6. Unlike other belts, it curves around my waist due to the way it was wrapped. The packaging was well done.8. The size of the setting is marked on the back of the cutting tape with the size listed and they are fairly accurate. However, I would reduce it with a little more space.9. I still haven't undone my belt buckle. That was important to me because other people just unbuckle themselves and when that happens you can't stop them until you cut off part of the strap. 10. The locking mechanism is again impeccable. Disadvantages1. It's not leather. I'm not sure how long it will last before it delaminates but the first belt I bought was so good I'll check it out. Buy it for work. The cognac color goes perfectly with cognac shoes. Brown is crazy about Cole Hann shoes. Black. uh, black shoes.
