This set of coasters + holders is about what I expected based on the listing here. The package comes in a display box with a photo of the item, a brief description of the DWK company on how they make the figures, etc. I would have included a photo of the box but I had stickers. so it doesn't come off too easily. The stand is well packaged, sandwiched between two foam moldings, and the coasters are pressed firmly to the side. When removing the coasters and stands from the packaging, everything looked fine except for the remaining foam, but I did notice a shortcoming. The coasters already had a small scratch on the artwork which can be seen in the attached photos. The paint on the coasters and holders is good, now missing stains or sloppy paint. The resin molded skull/base holder looks shapely, as do the bases. The paint seems to be of high quality, I have not noticed any stains on my hands, I have not noticed anything strange when handling it. After using and inspecting the coasters for some time, I discovered a few oddities. The coasters sit well on the surface, there is cork underneath and they center well on all but one of the coasters, but the disc of cork is big enough and thin that the stand is still sturdy, so no problem. The base itself, while heavy, has no felt, foam, or cork underneath. It's just a painted resin and decal from the company. Although the base, and particularly the base with the pedestals resting on it, has some weight, it slides across the table fairly easily due to the fact that the base is smooth on the underside. Another thing I noticed is the interior seating area for the coaster, although it's not painted quite as smooth, especially on one of the walls inside. As one of these stands came with a minor scratch, removing and installing the stand over time may result in further scratches. I'd like to see black felt or something applied to the inside walls of the skull where the supports sit, and I'll do that myself later. There's enough room for the felt even with the coasters installed, so I'll need some felt and some glue. The top of the coasters where the work is works quite well, non-slip for some containers. The mug sits well on it, as do most bottles. Overall I like it, the skull really stands out and makes itself felt! It's still an item that 'only time will tell' how well it holds up, particularly the artwork on the front of the coasters as one of them already arrived with a small scratch. In the meantime, I'll add felt later on the inside walls of the coaster holder and maybe some on the bottom of the coaster holder so it doesn't slide too easily on the table.
