Every night I use a full size plush body pillow to sleep on. I sleep on my side and like to use a body pillow between my legs to support my knees and also lie on the pillow with my chest pressed and my arms crossed. A regular body pillow provides spinal alignment, pressure relief, and upper body support. This is what I was looking for in an inflatable travel pillow so that I could get equal support when traveling and camping. I loved this pillow, but it didn't fit because of its shape. Since it's a flat rectangle, it could give me support between my knees and a few inches between my legs. However, this was because there was only 3 inches of room next to my chest to lean on with my hand. It didn't give me the upper body and arm support I wanted. Conversely, if I rotate the pillow so it's narrow and tall, I might get some chest/arm support, but it would be too tall to comfortably fit between my knees. I would recommend that the manufacturers of this product develop a tapered body pillow. This allows you to use a smaller diameter on the legs and a larger one on top to inflate the upper body. The inflation valve was easy to use and I was able to inflate it in 15 deep breaths. Not bad! I've had some issues with occasional valve knock and rapid deflation. SAD. The texture was pleasant and it didn't smell like many other plastic inflatables. Overall, the product didn't meet my needs for a body pillow, although some other aspects of the pillow were good.
