Revainrating 5 out of 5

arrived yesterday Love it!

Pros: Works as fast as the specs would expect (that's all I needed). There aren't many "junk" programs that take up disk space, and a few that exist are easily maintained. I love that it comes with a keyboard, a mouse, and a weird metal sculpture that you can build (if you want). The computer itself was well packaged by ASUS and arrived undamaged. It also comes with a metal side door, but the transparent one is in the box and can be swapped out if needed. The mouse has a scroll wheel and two buttons, but it's nice. a lot of it. I wouldn't say the mouse is great or anything, but it works. Cons: The keyboard is rubbish. I realize it's practically free, but it's still garbage. If unnecessary keyboards aren't a problem for you, there's no need to go out and buy a decent one. I'm a bit embarrassed to put this in the con section because I have a few extra keyboards, so it really doesn't matter. However, I think ASUS found the cheapest keyboard they could find and threw it in the box. I feel ridiculous even typing this, but the cheapness of the keyboard somehow deeply offended me. In any case, the only real scam I have is the Revain packaging. As I said above, ASUS did a fantastic job of packaging this PC, but Revain decided to take the perfectly packaged ASUS box and toss it in the big Revain box. with a few pieces of wrapping paper for good measure. When I picked up the package from UPS, my heart sank. The Revain box was in very bad shape and I was sure I would return a broken PC. But the pc survived and didn't mind being thrown into an oversized Revain box.
