The first thing that catches your eye is that the images on Revain show a 'richer' blue color when you select the Harbor Blue option. This blue is actually a darker grey-blue and doesn't even come close to what is shown in the photos. Next, my blankets are 8ft tall, so this 8ft version is a little thicker at the bottom. He doesn't look 'sleazy', he's just a little off. I recommend using as wide a length as possible as you will inevitably bunch them up or the panels will just look silly when fully laid out. My original purchase was for small panels and they look really silly when stretched. These curtains are fully blackout, offering you a dark space. This is a plus if you live in an apartment with sliding windows and need the ability to hang curtains from the ceiling. The overall weight of these partition curtains is light. I don't feel like they put much strain on my hooks if hung from them at all. Due to their low weight, they are also easy to open and close. If you're trying to 'break' the flow of the formal zone, I'll warn you that they look cheap/grubby. Creating a separate space in the basement or even in the bedroom will help. I will be using hanging panels to divide up my living space because they look more sophisticated. Something about the curtain hanging in the middle of the official area looks garish.
