Review on Lintratek Amplifier Verizon 2100MHz Cellular by Jonathan Abreu

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Average Performance

My situation: There is a signal from LTE Band 4 and 5G N71, on the street 4-5, in the room 0-1, sometimes the call is dropped. Indoor performance needs improvement. Results: You don't need to mount the antenna outdoors because most American walls are made of wood. Indoors, a look at the wall is sufficient. The amplifier gets really hot, can amplify the signal in the room up to 3-4 bar, but is not as stable as a micro cell. If you use Microcell, the signal is stable 5 but this 0-3 signal is variable. But after turning on the booster, not a single phone fell off. Outdoor downlink is 30 MB/s, without booster 1 MB/s, after booster stable 5 MB/s. The indoor antenna is a broadband whip antenna. The efficiency of this antenna is extremely low for an AWS signal. Can only operate at full power within a 1 meter diameter. When your mobile phone is 2 meters away, the signal drops to 1 band. But this one comes with an N connector, you need to buy an N-SMA adapter and then use a more efficient patch antenna. The booster interferes with the 5G signal. If you have set LTE-5G Auto, your phone will show a full 5G signal but will not be able to make calls. Therefore, you need to turn off 5G. Conclusion: This amp should be your last choice. If your provider allows you to request a microcell, select the "microcell" option. If you don't have a microcell option and want to improve signal in a small space, this might be an affordable option. in addition to these
