Review on Kohler Genuine 1039861 Flush Valve by Eric Chapman
This is a factory part and works as it should.
These flush valve kits have three tabs that slide under the flush tank. With the new seal it is very, very, very tight. Twist too hard or push in the wrong direction and you'll break these tabs. Don't turn it enough and water will seep in through the seal and it will always leak, wasting water. But move slowly and carefully, and know the risks, and you'll be fine. Much luck.
