Very sleek printer with fairly good document quality and acceptable image quality

First, the setup process was very easy and streamlined. I was able to print from my iPhone, iPad, and Mac almost immediately with no issues. Once you set up the printer on one device (I did it through my iPhone), it's basically set up on any other device you want to use it with. This is a pretty decent document printer. 1200 x 1200 DPI for black and white prints and 4800 x 1200 DPI for color prints. The tray (which I think looks a lot better with the lid closed) holds about 50 pages. It's definitely not a heavy-duty printer, but it does what I need (college documents, random Amazon return labels, and a bunch of photos). The photo of my corgi was taken with an iPhone XS Max (12MP). In "better" quality, it's a bit grainy. Not terrible, but not on par with the best photo printers. The linear algebra lessons were written and printed directly from the Goodnotes app on my iPad. I'm happy with the results so far. The star of the show, IMO, is the Instant Ink service. 2 months free with purchase and $2.99/month thereafter for 50 pages/month and unlimited free photo printing. It detects when you're running low on ink and uses your printing habits to determine the best time to send you a replacement. I look forward to not having to worry about replacing ink anymore and predicting when I will need to order more. The cost of the Instant Ink service is about 1/15th the cost of buying new ink cartridges. Since I don't print that much, I can spread this out over a year or more and get exactly what I need.
