I bought this watch as a gift for my college aged son. Arrived fairly quickly via US mail. The watch turned out to be very good, especially for the price I paid. I think I paid about $8 which compares to a pocket watch of $25 or a little more. The design of the front is clear and detailed. The coating looks very good. It doesn't seem to rub off easily. Comes with a chain, appears to be of good quality. The numbers on the dial are clear and easy to read. What I didn't like about the watch, however, is that the numbers next to the button start with 12. I thought it would make more sense and be easier to use if 12 was shifted 90 degrees to the left. So when you hold the watch in your right hand and press the button to open the cover, the dial will align for proper reading. . Instead, you have to tilt or rotate the watch to read it. I was wondering if it was a manufacturing defect but I compare them to other pocket watches and some are the same and some have turned the dial. I spent too much time writing this review. But I thought I got a good deal and was wondering if anyone had excess stock and was throwing it away at a low price. Conclusion - a good watch to buy if you like the color and design and like the dial orientation. Oh yes, my kid liked the watch. At least he said he knew.
