There are many different brands and styles of these children's tables and chairs. Many reviews of other kits complained that the holes didn't line up when assembled, so I was very concerned to say the least. I went with this particular one as it was supplied by Revain, was a very reasonable price and it would be easier to deal with Revain should any problems arise. I received the box in a larger Revain box via UPS. The first thing that struck me was that the product was very well packaged and protected. I haven't found any scratches or cracks on any parts/components anywhere. I have to say that some of the white metal parts had an orange stain. If this happens to you, just use the magic eraser and it will clean everything up. These stains were very minor and, as I said, easy to clean. The instructions are simple and clear, just follow them carefully. In my experience with this set, all the holes matched perfectly. Everything has been designed and built very well and feels solid. If you follow the instructions, assembly will take no more than 30-60 minutes depending on your building skills. The only tool you will need that is not included is a screwdriver. My wife and I put it together fairly easily in about 45 minutes, and that takes into account the time it took me to take the chair apart again to install a metal rod that runs under the plastic seat. **Please make sure you install the metal rod BEFORE installing the second tube that holds the seat in place.**The refinished table and chair look REALLY BEAUTIFUL and VERY STURDY. One reviewer pointed out that the chair and table would slide back no matter what she did, so she couldn't recommend it. Let me explain how to raise and lower the table and chair. For a chair, simply place your foot on one or both legs of the chair, grasp the chair with both hands, and pull up. There is no lever or button to operate, just pull up. It has different height settings where it will stop automatically when it reaches that height and display the height in inches on the side. When you raise it to the height you want, just let go and it stays at that height. With a table it's the same mechanism, only you don't have to step on its legs as it's heavy enough that you can just pull it up. To lower the chair and table, simply pull them all the way up until the cm height mark on the side says 'Down', then you can lower them back down to the lowest level if desired. Quite easy. Personally, I checked the table and chair at medium intervals and pressed both heavily. Nobody moved. So in my experience they are reliable and stick to your chosen settings, at least right out of the box. I am very happy with this purchase and am confident that this table will last a long time. Hope that helps.
