Review on πŸͺœ ECROCY Portable Wooden Step Stool - 16.5 x 11.8 x 6.5 Inches - Indoor & Outdoor Mobility Stool by Adam Bates

Nice, but be careful, this thing is SLIPPER!

This step is a little small for an adult, but it is very strong, and there is a really nice handle in the hole, so it is convenient for the elderly to use it can carry from room to room if necessary. The finish (I bought rosewood) is great. And that's the other side - that wonderfully shiny, smooth surface is a hazard to anyone who sleeps in socks and has to get up in the middle of the night. That thing is REALLY slippery! I've put mine in the library where they come in handy for getting to the high shelves, but I'll make it a point to keep a pair of rubber soled flip flops in there as well, because I usually wear socks, and Bei after that After a trial run I found it to be too slippery (I slipped) to use while awake without non-slip shoes. If you plan to use it in the bedroom, I think it's fine if you sleep barefoot or wear socks with handles underneath when you walk. Otherwise, especially if you are old and afraid of falling, I would choose something else. Ecrocy makes a step that I also bought that is a little less attractive but works really well for me in the kitchen. I leave this beauty in the library and hide a pair of slip-on slippers underneath. In the meantime I will continue to use The Complete Poems of Carl Sandberg (good thick book and good read) to help me fall asleep at night.

Pros
  • The bedside table is made entirely of 100% solid wood, the surface is painted
