If you are in dire need of an acne remedy, buy anything. Learned here - I bought the whole kit (face wash, toner, body scrub, spot treatment) and while it helped temporarily (about 2 weeks) it did more harm than good. My face started to partially clear with the toner and spot treatment but left my skin SUPER dry which interfered with my normal makeup. As soon as my face cleared up I woke up with a bunch of new pimples, it just didn't make any sense. The decision turned out to be the culprit. I switched to a simple ritual: real African soap, and my skin began to clear. Now I use a synthetic bristle manual facial brush and use Acure Face. Without tonic, spot treatment and body peeling. I have found that Alba Botanica is notorious for using inferior ingredients under "cleaner" products. I still have acne scars so I rely on Bio Oil/Oz.
