Review on Future Bamboo Toothbrush Toothbrushes Soft Angled by Janet Harris

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Children's toothbrushes with bamboo handles. Made in China.

They're supposed to have ultra-soft bristles, but unfortunately they don't. I have adult toothbrushes that are much softer. I couldn't figure out what the bristles were made of from the list, but the packaging says it's nylon-6. The box says you can "pull it out" with a pair of tongs when you're ready to compost the pen. I think it will take years for wood to become compost. They suggest recycling nylon bristles along with plastic, but many municipalities don't recycle plastic or only recycle plastic bottles. So I personally throw the whole thing in the trash. At least the wood can rot in the landfill. I like bamboo and it makes good grips. They are smooth and short for a child's hand. Pastel bristles add color. The unicorn is visible on the box, but it's small and fuzzy on the handle, so your child probably won't like it. Each brush has its own box and paper sleeve. It says "Made in Canada, Made in China".

Pros
  • Oral Care
Cons
