This is my second Speedo bathrobe. My last one still works, only heavily discolored (black) by the chlorine. Operated 3-5 times a week in winter for 5 years. Hence the value of the dollar is high. This time I bought the gray color hoping to get rid of the dreaded chlorine stains. I don't feel that the gray cloth is comparable to the black in thickness. I also suspect that the manufacturer has changed. I ordered a large one, like my last one, and it was a bit tight. I often wear gym clothes to go to the pool, so I don't find that acceptable. I'm M, size 10 built. But often shop large in this style of clothing. I had to go back for XL. So if you are a true XL this will not work for you. At least in grey.
