Great set that has almost everything I want/need.

I only recently started backpacking and camping at the age of 45. I have all the traditional but HEAVY camping gear including stoves, pots, pans and more. You won't get very far with a Coleman 3 burner, fuel, etc. I did some research and bought a 12 piece Bisgear set which I liked for two hikes but it would be nice to have more detail as I'm not the crazy type of traveler warming up an MRE and/or meal. When I saw this new set, I bought it too. I personally like having all the extra pots/lids for cooking. The addition of a spoon and fork is nice, although I love my titanium spatula and EDC knife. If I'm going to be traveling light for a day or so, I'm happy with the 12 piece set I originally bought, but I'm looking to do 7+ days on the Colorado Trail this September after 5 days in Yellowstone. , and would like more cooking options when not just trying to cover the floor. I have included photos of both sets for size comparison. My brother asked for my original 12 piece set after I showed him both and I said NO! This material is so cheap that he can buy it himself. I would like to add how surprised I am at how quickly these burners heat water for all sizes AND how quickly they cool down. I can update this after looking at the timing info in my photos, but when I took it all apart I thought the burner and coasters would be very hot, but soon after they felt warm to the touch - which is when needed a plus would be moving. Most of my camping gear I've used for cooking/heating/lighting has always taken a little longer. Obviously it's heavier and therefore doesn't dissipate heat as quickly. And yes, I'm still fairly new to hiking, but I'm a gear geek and I'm really impressed.

Pros
  • camping stove is made of aluminum alloy and stainless steel to withstand high temperatures and weight; The high-energy piezoelectric ceramic ignition system makes it very convenient for camping or hiking. Compact and foldable design combined with a carrying case for portability.
Cons
  • poorly thought out
